"Advanced Engineers" appreciate Niton instruments at the NEC
Viewed 709 times
Our Niton sales team has just returned from 2 days at the Advanced Engineering exhibition. The landing gear of a Jumbo Jet loomed large over our stand in the aerospace section of the Advanced Engineering exhibition at the NEC Birmingham. The huge wheels and struts of the aerospace installation attracted plenty of viewers, as did the Niton analysers. Our analysers looked very small in comparison, but then which engineer would want to wield an instrument weighing much more than a kilo on a daily basis? The latest Niton XL5 metals analyser weighs in at 1.27kg and, in its new coatings mode, can measure up to four coating layers on substrates made of pure element, alloy, compound, non-metal or plastic.
Our plastics analyser, the PolyMax, attracted strong interest which has converted into many demonstrations in the field. Niton instruments will be demonstrated analysing accurately and easily the following applications:
- heat sensitive paint
- plastics in transformers
- welds in radiators
- nickel coatings on an iron substrate
- alloys for aerospace and power supply applications

If you were at Advanced Engineering 2017 too, we hope you had an interesting and useful time. If you missed us and would like to invite one of our sales team to demonstrate a Niton instrument at your site, please get in touch by phoning 01256 397860 or through our Contact form.
