Mines and Technology Conference 2017 - Mines and Money
All three days of Mines and Technology Conference & Exhibition (formerly Mines and Money) were busy and well-attended. Niton UK shared a stand with partner Thermo Scientific.
This is a very international conference and so we met many consultants based in the UK but who work for international organisations. We were happy to welcome onto our stand delegates from many companies and universities including Phoenix Mining Consultants, Cambourne School of Mines, University of Exeter's College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Lockstrood Consulting, Ariana Resources and Santa Barbara consultants.
They were particularly interested to see the advances in the performance and design of the latest version of our smallest hand-held XRF analyser, the XL5.
The XL5 offers enhanced sensitivity for all elements including lighter elements Magnesium and Silicon, added calibrations for mining and soils, faster results with shorter measurement times and easier handling with its reduced weight and footprint. For more information visit our XRF page
