NITON analysers recognised among the most technically significant products of 2003.
The NITON XLt and XLi Infiniton x-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysers have been awarded the prestigious R&D 100 Award for technological innovation by Reed Elsevier's R&D magazine.
The R&D Awards Comittee anounced that NITON'S new XLt and XLi Infiniton analysers would be sharing an award as one of the most technologically significant products of 2003. The award will be presented at the Gala Awards Ceremony in October.
The 41st annual competition of the R&D 100 Awards saw entries from many of the most prestigious companies, research organisations and universities in the world. The winning of an R&D 100 Award provides a mark of excellence known to industry, government and academia as proof that the product is one of the most innovative ideas of the year.
This is the second R&D 100 Award for NITON. The company was also recognised in 1995 for its ground-breaking XL-300 Series lead paint analyser, the first ever full-function, hand held, XRF analyser.
