Dan HarmsJob Title: Service Manager
Joined Niton UK: April 2008
Having acquired extensive experience of Niton analysers - including safe working operation and servicing/calibration options – Dan represents the steady hand on the tiller for the Niton UK service department. This ensures that all work carried out continues to build upon the exceptional service that the company works so hard to provide to our customers.
Outside work he enjoys spending time with his family and playing rugby for his local team.
Russell MastersJob Title: Service Supervisor
Joined Niton UK: July 2011
Since his arrival Russell has proved himself to be a great asset to the service department. This is demonstrated by the high volume of positive feedback that he continues to receive from our customers.
Russell is friendly and considerate with a deep interest in history. Russell also enjoys playing football, and he is a season ticket holder at the club he supports. When not busy with football or reading history, he likes to spend time at museums, pubs, and greasy spoon cafes.
Neil TarryJob Title: Installation and Commissioning Technician
Joined Niton UK: May 2010
Neil travels the length and breadth of the United Kingdom and Eire delivering and commissioning instruments and training people in how to use Niton analysers. He has acquired a great deal of knowledge that allows him to deal confidently with the various situations in which analysers are used.
Neil is friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour. Neil spends a lot of time away from home but when he is home he likes watching or playing football or cricket.
Chris BodeJob Title: Customer Support Technician
Joined Niton UK: June 2014
Since joining the service department just a few years ago, Chris has already established himself as a dependable, loyal and trustworthy addition to the team. He regularly works hard to ensure that customers receive the best turn-around times possible and the feedback he regularly receives echoes this.
Chris is energetic and competitive with a keen interest in sport. His favourite activities outside work include playing golf or football or going on long walks with his dog.
Jamie DonaldsonJob Title: Customer Support Technician
Joined Niton UK: March 2016
Jamie joined Niton after servicing lorry engines for a national haulage company. He enjoys applying his engineering knowledge and skills to servicing X-Ray and laser instruments. Jamie is a much valued member of the service team. He meets every deadline and regularly goes out of his way to help his colleagues.
He is friendly and reliable. Away from the bench he enjoys watching motorsports, cycling, gaming and spending time with friends.
Chris BlissettJob Title: Trainee Customer Support Technician
Joined Niton UK: March 2018
Chris enjoys taking things apart to see how they work and how he can improve them, the more intricate the device the better. He has transferred to servicing Niton XRF instruments, the practical skills he has developed stripping down motorbike engines.
Chris is enthusiastic, friendly and learns quickly. It is hard to believe he is the newest member of the service team. At weekends he enjoys racing motocross and mini bikes through woods and jumps at endurance events. He is off to the USA to watch NASCAR motorsport next year.
